I just lost a big chunk of my life. Oh by-the-way I'm here in the Philippines on vacation. I just bricked my 1 terrabyte external HDD. While it was powering down, I dropped it from a height of 6 inches. I tried plugging it again, but it didn't get recognized by my laptop. All it did was just make grinding noises. :(
